The consumer durable major Usha International Ltd wants a growth of 100% in the next one year in its water dispenser business as it entered the household-commercial category by rolling out a new water dispenser range Usha Laguna on Thursday.
“With the addition of the new range, we are eyeing a growth of 100% in the next one year. Given the growth registered by canned water market in India, the water dispenser market certainly has a good potential and is a lucrative business opportunity. We will continue to introduce products keeping customer convenience at the heart of all our efforts,” said the company’s business head for water solutions Bharat Kharbanda.
According to Kharbanda, the new range includes table tops, floor standing, and floor mounted water dispensers with a cooling cabinet. It is equipped with a single faucet for hot, cold and normal water dispensing, and a bigger and wider drip tray to avoid spill over, as well as an anti-rodent power cord. “The range has the largest cooling capacity in the industry, up to 3.5 litres per hour. It is available in twin colour combination of white and cool blue, and is priced at Rs 9590 upwards.”
