In a bid to make a ‘game changing’ move in the industry, smart LED lighting startup iBahn Illumination Pvt Ltd has launched the Prima and the Elite spotlight series. The range is the country’s “first” app-operated chip-on-board (COB) lighting solutions, the New Delhi-based company said in a statement.
Compatible with Android and iOS, the spotlights provide an “exceptional” indoor lighting. It can be applied in spaces such as living rooms, bedrooms, POP ceilings for homes, corridors, showrooms, cafeterias, restaurants, hotel lobbies, reception areas, and recessed gypsum ceilings, said the company that markets its smart lighting products under ‘Svarochi’ brand.
While Prima is a reflector-based spotlight with fixed and adjustable spots, Elite is a lens-based spotlight with a modular design of four different reflector attachments—fixed, swing, angle, and curve. They are priced between Rs 2,000 and Rs 5,000, and are available in 8 and 16 watts. With bright and dim lighting options in Prima, and warm and cool options in both Prima and Elite, the company said that customers will be able to control the dimming and colour temperature as per their requirements.
“We are very excited to add the Prime and Elite COB spotlight series to our portfolio of products. We believe this series will meet the ever-evolving requirement of good quality lighting of our customers, delivering great lighting experience for them,” said Rajeev Chopra, the company’s co-founder & CEO.
Added Arjun Shahani, the company’s co-founder & COO: “The launch of our Prime and Elite COB spotlights series is a game changer for iBahn, our customers and the Smart LED industry. COB allows for a higher packing density than the surface-mount technology, resulting in more intensity, choice of beam angles and better light quality for the user. We will continue to expand our product portfolio with such exciting solutions.”
