Energy-efficient pumps specialist Grundfos has launched a mobile application ‘SmArt Serv’ to provide service support for it products. The app will enable users to locate the nearest service provider, fill in the details of the complaint or request, attach a picture of the pump or system and raise a service request, the company said in a press release.
An acknowledgement of the request will be received within four hours. For digital pumps, the service provider will try to fix the problem online by providing remote assistance. For other pumps, the service provider will deploy one of the service engineers to the site. Normally, the complaints or requests will be resolved within three days, the company said.
SmArt Serv app is available on iOS, Android and Windows. This “user-friendly” mobile app can also be installed on a desktop computer.
