The inaugural unified edition of the international lighting fair Light India and Electrical Building Technology India, which will be held from October 5-7 in New Delhi, is reportedly over 90% booked and is expected to bring over 250 companies to showcase solutions for smart cities, say the organisers.
Organised jointly by Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt Ltd and Electric Lamp & Component Manufacturers’ Association of India (ELCOMA), the show will display advanced materials for lighting applications, mood and ambient lighting for hospitality and retail, complete home lighting controls and automation for smart buildings, and solar street lighting.
The three-day exhibition will demonstrate technical innovations, enable knowledge sharing, as well as provide a lowdown on market developments through planned fringe programmes. This includes a lighting conference on October 6, and a series of workshops with international associations. Also, a Council of Architects Conference is being planned, the organisers inform.
